You really SHOULD have gotten pre-hired before you even started school.
You dont need to wait until you finish. Start making calls/filling out on-line apps NOW. Cant hurt.austinmike and mastership Thank this. -
Don't go the 1099 route. It'll ruin your career over time. You'll have the felonies then you'll have more bad record stuff from driving for losers.
You want a clean slate that shows you've changed your ways and can be trusted. Take your time and do it right or you'll never break the cycle. -
It's not hopeless just more difficult for you than it would be for any newbie with a solid work history, perfectly clean driving & criminal record.
If you ask a barber if you need a haircut the answer is ALWAYS yes. SOME CDL schools might turn away business but not many. If you don't look out for you no business will. Nobody on earth has the job of getting a good result for you, but you.austinmike, Gearjammin' Penguin and Walk Among Us Thank this. -
Thank you sir. I was accepted into school just nervous about getting the job after. The school says it won't be a problem especially since it's been 4 years. I guess since 5 is the sweet spot I'll just have 1 year of hard work before going to a bigger carrieraustinmike Thanks this.
