Truck Driving Jobs | Walmart Careers
You meet the minimum requirements with only 2 tickets, check the link above. If you don't drop an app in you'll never know. Whatever someone else has going on doesn't apply to YOU. You have no idea what the other driver's record was. Only what he told you. And just because they pass on you once doesn't mean to quit dropping those applications in... Good luck whatever you do!Sapphire_Glitter Thanks this. -

Yeah the yard dog jobs don't pay very well. At some DC's they'll actually hire people that don't have a CDL for that job.

Marten has a terminal in Tampa, plus they do a bit of southeast regional between Georgia and Florida. They also do Walmart dedicated loads out of the Monroe,GA DC(for that you might get sent to the Tucker,GA terminal for orientation if you get hired).

Its also why I dont run the northeast, no miles all traffic, its not profitable unless youre an owner operator every week im in the northeast I make a sub $500 check and if im lucky I hit 1000 miles, the east coast cities are a total loss so no im always going to refuse it, its stress and its no pay, i wouldn't take a load up there ever again unless the company throws me $1+ a mile or I was running team
As for every time I was late was a scheduling issue from WEL half the loads they want you to drive a 100+ miles in an hour or less its not a matter of being my fault their management and planning is completely braindead, I was even given loads that weren't set to pickup for another week and they were suprised when I told them
Some loads even gave me 50 miles and I had to sit there 2 or 3 days while the freight was getting cross docked to my trailer
Like I said anyone woukd leave these companies getting that little pay I had to literally disconnect, drive 5 miles around the shipper lot otherwise they claimed "you didnt meet garuntee because you had no miles for these days"
So i constantly had to just go drive around on clock to meet my garuntee because they were so slow and had no freight, at the end I was getting below 1000 miles a week
