That’s what I miss about the Cali area…..Barstow, Victorville, Fresno etc.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten came from the truck of maybe a Nissan Sentra or Toyota Camry it doesn’t matter lol. This lady showed up to the pet food place I was shaken out at in Victorville. I’d been waiting on the dump for hours. I couldn’t understand anything she said so I took 2 of everything and held out a 100. She counted out my change we both smiled as if to say I’m very happy if you are and parted ways. I ate every bit of that ####. Everything was wrapped in foil so i couldn’t tell what it was that was my solution. I was also hungry enough that day is a paid 200 just to eat lmao

 

So me and @Oxbow are golf’n in the morning and I figured I better stock his brand in case he puts a whipp’n on me— he has a lot of rage built up— curious to see what it says about… never mind, I don’t want to know

While I'm no Mexican food efficienado like some of you Southwest guys, the best burrito by far that I have ever had came off the roach coach at Americold in Los Angeles, circa 1990 or so. The gal inside the food truck didn't speak any more English than I did Spanish, but I pointed at the combination burrito on the menu and she knew what I wanted. I was there a week later delivering another load of frozen blueberries, and danged if she didn't remember me and what I had ordered. Dang they were good.
