I don't really know what to tell you about that.

Look on the internet for a DOT list of disqualifying meds -- see if the one you're on made the list.

    AND/OR....

Talk to a doctor/clinic that also does DOT physicals...see if they know if Swift will take you with your current med(s).

Did you ever find anything? I’m also waiting on the WIOA for funding was told July is a better month since that’s when funding begins for the new year. I’ve been waiting since May 24. I’m from Bakersfield though.

I believe Morning Star will train you. They would be my first call.

Check Craigslist for Sacramento and Redding. The Punjabi morons are always hiring.

I contacted them but they are full. Do you know of any other places similar to them?

I’ve got an update. I got my license with doubles/triples and tanker endorsement as well as my TWIC card. I’m waiting on the hard copy so that I can take the hazmat written test to get that added. What companies are currently hiring with zero experience, and would be okay with the fact I haven’t worked in just over a year? Western Express has been my only yes so far, I’m just wanting to know if there are any other options? I’ve gotten all my ducks in a row on my end, and I just need an opportunity at this point. I was told at school by my instructor that I need to work within 45 days or companies will most likely want me to pay for training again. I’ve got $2.50 to my name, and a prayer so hopefully that won’t happen.
