First drug test will disqualify you

weed stays in your blood for weeks and in your hair follicles for many months

plus anyone who doesn’t smoke can smell it on you even if you haven’t smoked in a couple of weeks

    it REEKS

    potheads can’t smell it
Same as people who smoke cigarettes can’t tell that their body and their clothes and their house and their vehicles all reek and can be smelled a 1/4’mile away

Awesome! 4 month should be more than enough time to get clean. 4 more days and you'll have 1 week. Keep the 1 week mindframe. It'll eventually be a habit to not smoke.

You could go up to alaska and be a fisherman, that's what I did for five years before I started trucking. You have to pass pre employment and then Randoms while you're on the boat, but you can't possibly get any there so it should be no problem. Both the money and the hometime are better than most trucking gigs and they do not give a **** what you do when you're off so long as you're clean when you go up. Now, I cannot stress enough that it is the hardest work you'll ever do in your life. You will earn every cent you make up there, in the wet and cold, for a minimum of 75 days (you can do less but if you do they will change you the airfare to alaska and back so not recommended) but there are zero barriers to entry whether education, background, or lifestyle. You could just do one contract and get clean, and have a little money stacked up as a parachute just in case you decide trucking isn't your thing after all. You could potentially fit a contract in while you're waiting in line for school anyway, though it depends where you work and how soon you get up there. I sometimes miss it. It was harder but much simpler. Every day was exactly the same, and while it was safety sensitive, it is not in the same league as driving. You have an accident up there, you may hurt yourself, but you won't kill a family.

Don't expect to get rich quick though. You're paid a share of what the boat makes and given that we're on the verge of a trade war with...everyone, it may not be peak earnings up there at the moment.
