I’m picking up a TQL load dropping it at the yard. Looked at their board just now. All I can say is WOW! Not real surprised. But it’s pathetic. It’s hard to believe. Think I’ll just sit on the sidelines. Just not worth it.

 

I would just try to go for a company that has more customer freight. Almost every graph that you see shows contract rates being a little above Spot market freight. No-brainer there.

 

There appears to be possible moon fuel on the horizon. My schedule is Sun/Mon off and dispatch sent out a company wide message asking for volunteers to run tomorrow if it’s one of your days off. Sounds like everyone wants full tanks when the market opens Monday. Anyway, I’m working tomorrow because I like money.

 

Diesel is up like 50 cents since yesterday already

 

I filed up last night for 3.15 in MO. Figured it will shoot up starting Monday morning if not today.

I think you're reading too much into that. Block it with what ? how long would it take to get them out of the way 15 minutes!
