Once more, social media and the 24-hour news cycle catastrophizes rare isolated events and makes you think it's a common problem that you have to be worried about and plan for. How many tons of rice and beans are sitting in people's cupboards ready for the end of the world and food shortages always around the corner for the last 40 years?

Care to cite some sources showing random, non-involved people being attacked last weekend?

If there are and the incident in question took place in a major metropolitan area populated mostly by protected classes, then chances are they’ve been censored out of existence.

We certainly can’t tolerate the potential bad optics of the legitimization of self-defense, especially if the attacker was a member of the aforementioned protected classes.

The people making excuses for illegal mobs blocking streets want you to remain vulnerable so their allies, the mobs, can get what they want from the govt.

    Bull. Pure, unadulterated bull.

Even if Fox didn't jump on it, the various infotainment podcasters would.

But let's say you're right. He won a court case, which means he could share the case number and we could read the transcripts.

Blocking a street does not threaten your life, it inconveniences you.

Demands for sources always become arguments about the quality of those sources. Nobody opposing one side changes their mind when shown what they ask for. It's just a debate & delay tactic.

At least the news source would be less biased. It would tell us if it was an actual mob, riots, protests, road rage, car jacking, etc.

No, posting from sources DOES NOT restrict bias or prevent dishonest reporting. If you expect people with other views than yours to accept NYT as a source you surrender the right to judge anyone's source. They covered up wholesale mass murder for decades, and won a Pulitzer Prize for it and then much much later admitted their coverage was false and kept the prize.

Living in a bubble with others with your views does not make you a judge of sources. It does not make THEM an accurate judge of sources even if ALL OF YOU in the bubble scream "We Are The Sources".

Oh sorry my bad. Did I tell you about the time I saved 10,000 people from falling off a cliff? The news didn't cover it because they're biased but it's real I swear.
