    Triggered much?

Equating the lax enforcement of emissions laws to what ICE is doing right now is asinine. When people like Kory Willis were arrested, the officers obtained warrants and showed identification. He was given access to legal representation and bond. Compare that to what ICE is doing - using fake/no license plates, masked 'officers' wearing plain clothes, denying access to legal representation, etc. In both scale and nature, two very different situations.

To be clear - California law enforcement is now and has always allowed ICE to do their jobs. They're just not going to do ICE's job for them.

It does create stereotypes and fear though .

    it did for me

And for millions of people who watched Denny get nearly beaten to death by blacks simply for his skin color .

The folks in California sure seem angry that the fedgov is finally enforcing the immigration law .

none of this would be happening if a certain resident of Pennsylvania Avenue had simply kept the border secure.

It's missing the justified self defense bullet hole in the windshield. You run over protesters or anyone with a vehicle it's attempted murder and they have the right to defend themselves.

Millions watched Ahmaud Arbery get shot for being black. Does that mean any black man is justified of preemptively shooting at any pickup truck with a guy riding in the back?

The sterotypes and fear aren't created through one incident. They're created through how that incident is related and how often it is repeated. Denney's attack was a tragedy, but let's remember is was black people who stopped the attack, black people who drove him to the hospital, and a black truck driver who moved Denney's truck to a safe area. Yet in the last 5 years Denney has been used to make truck drivers afraid.

Outside of Denney, you cannot provide one example of a truck driver being assaulted by protestors where the driver didn't initiate the violence by trying to forcibly drive through the crowd. Being inconvenienced doesn't constitute a threat. If it did, then I would have been justified for driving through the Trump rally goers were blocking Main Street in GB last April.

Fidel Lopez of Guatemala. Same situation as Denny. No bricks, just the soccer ball treatment to the head. Got an ear ripped off. Any guesses to why he didn’t receive news coverage?

It received a lot of coverage at the time, judging by the number of newspaper articles.

Over time, not so much as it didn't fit the narrative that some people want to promote - the Rodney King riots was Black rage against a racist white system. In certain circles, the narrative is it was black people attacking anyone and anything that wasn't black. Those circles love to trot out the videos of Denney, armed Koreans defending their property, and looting.

In reality, it was an explosion of rage fueled by underlying economic and social problems that transcended race. About half the people arrested and one third of the people killed were Latino. Rodney King, Michael Brown, George Floyd are the sparks that get focused on while the tinder gets ignored.

All of you are just trying to justify lawlessness.
All of these incidents have one thing in common, to many people with to much time on their hands.
All of these instigators are either drug addicts, lazy bums, losers who are blaming someone else for their pathetic lives or just plain old anarchist.
And if the screaming old cat lady gets run over doing something stupid, so be it.

And you're trying to justify vigilantism.

Once again, being inconvenienced isn't the same as being threatened.
