You well have thieves come in snd take all your stuff. They are called family. Distant relatives you haven't seen or talked to for decades. Lol.

Maybe when they find the thief they can charge them with vehicular manslaughter snd fleeing the accident scene.

this is so very true, i actually call them "the vultures"

the sniff of 1 penny makes them want a piece of it....

i always said to my wife, "i know we have 5 kids, but if i should die, after hitting the lottery, make sure you DEMAND DNA testing of all others knocking on the door".....

    at the very least..theft.

then God help him if he has outstanding warrants, or is a probation violator, etc, etc.

that stealing crap reminds me of the "cowboy days" when someone would be dead by one way or another, and his body is stripped of boots, pants, his horse, or even his farm......

A funeral director friend suggested this:

Have the Memorial Service at 11:00AM Everyone who cares is there.
Have the Estate Auction at 1:00 PM, free box lunch. Whatever doesn't sell, the vultures(family members) can have.

    Sad,but true.
It’s happened a few times in my family. One of my cousins experienced this during our step grandmother’s funeral (I still called her grandma and loved her all the same)
The way her funeral went brought my cousin’s blood to a boil!
    (long story)
Simply put Cliff considered my brother and I family, but some of my aunts, uncles and other cousins relatives, which is understandable..
