Wish you'd posted that in the beginning.
Roehl and Western Dairy Transport are the only two I know of that pay while in their CDL School.
    Roehl pays salary
    Western Dairy pays hourly

Swift is apparently making some effort to hire drivers out of your area:

Swift -- dry van -- OTR -- Ohio

Start things off in their dry van fleet.

Later....after you get some honest experience....you can try reefer duty...also with Swift.

Once you later realize just how bad reefer duty sucks....you can then go back to dry van....& again...all with Swift.

Sounds like a swift plan, doesn't it?

All that great experience....& with only just one carrier.

Just think -- NOOOOOO real job hopping!

Amazing, yes -- but indeed...quite possible.

Sorry m8, I thought I did, but apparently I did not. Swift seems like the logical choice for my area, but Roehl and western dairy pay in school.

At the worst I can try and talk to people about payment deferment until after school, but at my age....doubt they would go for it. I get paid decent just not happy in my current profession. I still feel like a 10 y/o when I see a semi

Few people get into shape through trucking. The irregular low-quality sleep, bad food, lack of exercise typically adds pounds.

You can indeed give Western Dairy a try -- but their hiring for new drivers right now appears very limited.

Roehl....on the other hand....seems much more open to brand new drivers.

Helpful tip: if you are not in good physical condition -- don't start off in flatbed.

You get in good shape -- & then do flatbed.

NOOOTTT the other way around. o_O

Ohio WIOA Program will pay for CDL school, free to you. Some private cdl schools have weekend classes for students that have to keep their current job while in school.

I'd try Roehl first, then Western Dairy second, then WIOA third.
Western Dairy hourly pay may not be what you must have, so ask about that.
