Definitely smaller. Wait 'til you get ancient and get your first pair of tri-focals...things get really smaller then.

I knew I could count on you.

My pal Gus said #### Cooter you can’t even make a decent size flesh wound with that thing. Course my response is I’m still not big enough to carry me own hog sticker

This may sound harsh and please don’t take it as criticism, but you just let about $500 slip off the side of the road— just pointing it out so’s you don’t make the same mistake twice

I’ll say this. I definitely feel for the guys with no AC.

There was a day me and Doc woulda jumped out kicked dat gators ### throwed his ### in the jail and high tailed to Kansas with him. Have gator stew made out his ### when the rest of the crew showed up.

Now we’re very content getting out around 6am. Taking a nap from 10 to 11 and being done by 1. Course we will chase parts etc after the sun gets on up in afternoon we don’t do anything stressful in da heat. Make no mistake we ain’t feeble, just a couple ol lazy fat dawgs who enjoy being lazy and fat

They don’t mind the jake brakes on new trucks. They’re nice and quiet. :yes2557:

As for lunchtime, I park, throw my sandwich on the exhaust manifold, set the timer for 30 minutes and take a nap after fixing the truck so it won’t shut off, and THEN run into the store I’m parked behind to go to the john and get a cup of coffee.

The best days are like today when the only thing I have to do after that is head for home. :D

May the FedEx “between the 3rd and 5th hour” lunchtime gods forgive my heinous blasphemy. :biggrin_25523:

That sounds like a pretty good lifestyle. I'm still saving money to pay for this next house and then I might try to slow down, bur probably not.

Once it hits 88 degrees my truck stays running so I have A/C. I clocked in at 6 am and you can see on the handheld my lunch ended at 227pm, they changed that rule to a 30 before you reach 8 hrs now. A road guy doesn't have to take one unless he drives over 8.
