A lot places in certain areas don’t pay with a darn.. what’s the point of being home local if you make so little you barely survive.. work to pay just pay bills and have nothing to go and enjoy life with??…

I would go with Chocolate Dedicated out of Kennesaw if available.
Friend Thanks this. -
The way you stay out it shouldn't matter where you live. When I was an O/O with Marten my dispatcher wanted me to do Walmart Dedicated out of Tomah WI and then he would get me a load when I was ready to go home.
-
They don't do that kind of thing here. You have to live close to the home base of the account. And again, the dedicated pays less per mile, and less miles than OTR.
I saw an ad for Marten. On of their advertised points was "free sleep study testing" and "discounts on CPAP supplies". Not my idea of positive selling pointsFriend, D.Tibbitt, Knucklehead and 5 others Thank this. -
It’s sad that a driver wants to work more and the company doesn’t complyFriend, D.Tibbitt, Knucklehead and 4 others Thank this.

I think what his problem is is that his asset manager is out of the office constantly so other people are running her board and when my guy is out of the office, I noticed the difference too when your normal asset manager is not running the board that day, others don’t care about you because you’re not the regular driver… He really needs to push the issue to get the hell off of her boardLonesome, Knucklehead, navypoppop and 4 others Thank this.

I would definitely agree with you. I saw that ad too. I've worked for both companies.
Friend, Lonesome and Knucklehead Thank this. -
I almost applied to Marten on a couple occasions. Looks like i may have dodged a bullet
Schneider tried to pull that sleep apnea bs so I gave them the finger and actively looked for another companyFriend, Knucklehead, navypoppop and 2 others Thank this. -
I am pretty sure they won't swap me until they start getting employment verification calls from my next company, then they'll offer, but by then it'll be too little too late.Friend, Lonesome, Knucklehead and 3 others Thank this.

The actual Dots pretzel warehouse is 2 blocks from where I am delivering. Although, it looks like half of this end of the warehouse is nothing but Dots, so this might be an overflow warehouse.
