Like I stated it seemed like it was a peoplenet issue. You had to call peoplenet to solve the problem with the tablet

Did you get it all in that post?

oh I forgot to say the good things. Easy runs, lots of drop and hook, low miles, job kinda feels like a retirement home if you run hard like me, it just ain’t gonna cut it.

I'm not a high tech guy but sounds to me like the other person (which is really not a person) on the tablet is a bot. Seems like driver accepts load, drives to shipper, logs it, loads it and sends loaded call and is rolling. Why should driver not be able to fuel because tablet shows he hasn't picked the load yet. Think I get it now, cost saving measure for employer, less real people on the payroll ! !
Truckin223 and Lonesome Thank this. -
Their system blows -
This was a great write up. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope things get better for you. It's a rough market right now!
Lonesome Thanks this. -
It isn't the tablet that isn't letting him fuel, it's the fueling network the company uses, which is tied to the EFS account. They tell us where and how much to fuel via the Peoplenet. If he can't see it on the tablet, then ends up stopping at an unauthorized fuel stop, the system won't authorize the truckstop to turn on the pump. I have fueled out of sequence more than once, but it was at the assigned fuel stop, I just didn't want to backtrack to the fuel stop after getting loaded because I wanted to go an alternate route to my destination.
