My last one was an 87. Biggest POS I ever owned. Totally turned me off from GM. Never bought another GM.

Lol…. Well, there was a time I was bench shooting every weekend, after polishing buckles of course. I never really unloaded much of my reloading equipment, just switched out the caliber of casings. I was driving the maroon aerodyne K model back then, something about the top bunk she seemed to really like…..

72 and early 73 the top came off like a IH Scout all the way to the windshield. One of our council members has an early 73 he runs topless during the summer. The last Jimmy I had the previous owner had took the top off and sealed it up behind the seats. 4” lift with gumbo monster mudders, I had a .040 283 in it. Wish I had taken pics of my 69 & 72 Bronco’s. Had 38’s on the green 69 V8 automatic, and 35’s on the blue V8 3 in the tree….

Ours was like that as I recall (the top) although I never took it off.
It also had the first iteration of full time four wheel. I'm trying to remember - no manual locking hubs and you could lock the transfer case in 4wd. It seems as if those had some issues but I don't remember having trouble with it.

I think the full convertible went to 1975. @Oxbow had the first gen. I had the second and third gen. My 2nd gen was full convertible also. My last one was not.
