Maybe so, but I prefer to buy the $9.95 version every year and stay current.

But yeah, the mechanics are the second stupidest mechanics ive ever met. I had a tire ready to blow and they refused to change it!

One time i had my girlfriend visit me in my truck and the truck was shakign and then we got out and walked in. several people assumed she was a lizard. what the hell?

Key parts of this post were "girfriend visit me in my truck" and the "truck shaking" I would not feel upset. Since this is what is witnessed when the loto lizardo comes to visit too. lol People probably thought dinner was part of the transaction.

I have known of women drivers that made money on the side. Also have heard about a female driver at a co I worked at that would trade bunk time for tarping her load. She was let go after that happened a few times.

 

Enterprising... ??? Just tax it right? I'm only joking! I'm against it!

 

I'm kinda banned from the Houston Pilot. I bought a bunch of cholesterol and stuff and she bagged it up. I forgot cigarettes and bought two packs at about $13. I walked out the door and looked in the bag. It wasn't my brand. To make it worse they were Ultra Lights. Like smoking air.

I went back to the clerk and she said in a rude tone "Sorry, you walked out the door. Texas law says we can't exchange them".

I'm a calm, easy going person but this flew all over me. I said "Lady, you watched me walk out the door and turn around. Besides that, there is no one here".

Real snooty..."Sorry, Texas Law".

Now I was getting hot. I said "lady, you ain't doing me this way". I few more words exchange and now I was boiling. A crowd gathered with amazement.

I took the cigarettes and slug em by her head. I wasn't trying to hit her. I said "Take them cigarettes and shove them up your ### you ####". And I walked out.

A few minutes later drivers were on the CB saying she called the cops and they were looking for me. I closed the curtains and changed clothes, lol.

The next few weeks other Pilots were stressing if I had the right brand. I knew it made it to corporate.

I been there since and haven't seen her. She probably quit because her nerves were shot.

 

That is too cool.

 

i disagree; It was totally uncool to take it out on someone who is just doing their job----not making up some rule on the spot because she didn't want to exchange the cigarettes. Should have asked to speak with the manager on duty.


On top of that you shouldn't be smoking in the first place, but that's another story.......

 

Last I checked, cigarettes aren't illegal and if one chooses to smoke, one has every right to do so as long as they obey current laws applicable to smoking cigarettes. Yes it's unhealthy, but so is McDonalds.

Sorry, but I just can't stand the whole "you shouldn't do it anyway" argument.
