I know a driver who does not understand half of what she is saying, but keeps watching, because he likes the looks and sound of her voice. Way more pleasant to the eye than that Mothertrucker guy ))

 

Anything either one of them has ever said has never changed my business one iota

 

From what I’ve gathered. She’s a Company Owner/Partner, with 2 Drivers. One is her Dad. The Office should be at home. So many people make the mistake of acting big time too soon. Surprised she doesn’t have a big mahogany leather top desk. Lol. In all fairness, She’s good at analyzing trends. That’s all she’s ever claimed. Like everyone else, She learns the hard way, judging by the DH’s and large repair bills she’s mentioned, not the hypothetical way. YouTube keeps her busy between shuffling paperwork. She’s definitely smart, and entertaining.

 

She doesn't analyze anything, just reporting the news. Like the other guy. Her real business is youtube.

What did have happened to the english proficiency, did it go away so soon, what a shame.

 

Wow, for a local cat you sure do get around... Ive been looking for a local gig now over a month since selling my truck and trailer and gotta say, the job offers are nothing short of comical.

The main gripe is "local home daily" but driving our sleeper unit... LOL 1099, no benefits, percentage pay, no overtime... Are we all stupid???

I’m stupid. Ran hard yesterday all over town. Got stuck in dock, took my 2hr exemption. Ran out of time in the dock again. Slept in the Truck, 50 miles from home.Really not a big deal. Made $400 for 16 hrs. 24 total. Looking for another job constantly. Only decent job in town is Dayton Freight. I’m looking more for non trucking jobs. Tired of driving. The local roads are so bad, coupled with a junkie Cascadia. Now I remember why I went OTR. Winter’s coming soon enough. It’s only going to get worse. Local is a whole new world to me. It’s been interesting for a change. 3 weeks of running to Ga 3200 miles, and 5-8 hrs on the clock got old real quick. Just treading water for now. Curious what will be next. Never know.

 

It aint pretty thats for sure...there was hardly anything when i was looking 2 years ago now.. there was a company out of PA that i applied for and job was offered to me but i turned it down for white mtn ... Rgm transport.. they do some otr stuff but alot of regional stuff out of PA and eastern us.. they told me home every weekend. I met the owner when he was in az for a couple days... Seemed like aN honest guy running a really good company, they run nothing but large cars. Flatbed work....65cpm is what they offered me...
Maybe worth a shot. Atleast until u could find a good local gig
