    You are my neighbor :)
    I park my truck PB
    Live in West Melbourne.

Can’t think of anything other than a team company REX in Melbourne. Think it gets you home every weekend or couple days during the week.

Get some experience anywhere and I got a few local options I could share.

Penske hires for local but I don’t know how much experience you need.

They have a truck parked next to me in Palm Bay. You arrive to the storage yard take the truck for deliveries and then go back to the yard park and go home. Someone else switches the trailer out every night.

I see the guy starting super early and usually he is back by noon ish.. It’s reefer work and probably the same stops every day I’m guessing.

    Looks like a good gig.

Atlantic Frozen Foods in Port Canaveral has run ads for drivers to deliver frozen seafood all over Florida with pay running between $80G - $100G, but now can't get the website to open.
Don't know if the company is still open or just a computer glitch.

You really should see a dentist! Teeth implants are the fad these days.

You are at a major disadvantage for 2 reasons: you live in south Florida, where freight coming out is weak at best, and its a bad hiring market right now. If you have a relative that lives outside of Florida, use their address to get in the door either that or take a team job if its available. You may have to sacrifice hometime for a while, or your pride and comfort. You gotta get experience. Then it's slightly easier to find you something as a Florida resident.

These moving companies look good but I worry about the truck staying still for a while to get loaded and unloaded along with inconsistent miles being a moving service

Yeah I’ll take anything to get my foot in the door to gain experience even if it is teams.

Lol, don’t worry about sitting still, you’ll be loading those bad boys sweating your caboose off in the Florida humidity.

I worked for Allied Van Lines in the mid 80’s up in the NE. If nothing else you’ll grow muscles, your hands will hang down around your ankles or you’ll just stroke out :)
