What two consenting adults do is none of my business. I have a hard enough (pun unintended) time as it is watching after myself. The fact is, we are far beyond this now. I have seen several comments all over the internet that go, had they not reacted, most likely none of this would have happened. I would tend to agree. I also agree that a person's private life in general should not matter how they do their jobs. The problem is that I don't control the internet, and I can't stop online stalking. I can't stop ESPN and a baseball team from making memes of all of this.

Now! If you go to the company website, you will see a list of their larger investors. Late yesterday afternoon, I looked and noticed one of these investor companies is a company in which I own stock. This company is now famous but for the wrong reason. This can make investors nervous. Almost all investment agreements have in them a recission clause that allows terminating the agreement.

One last thing. A very wise person told me decades ago to NEVER under any circumstances assume intelligence. What that man did was dumb. That was not a moment of weakness; it was simply dumb. You want to knock boots with your HR director, go get a room at the local Howard Johnson!

 

If you carefully watch the video, you can see the woman use her elbow to touch the other female. I don't know about you, but most folks these days don't do that unless they know the person. I don't have an opinion on who the other female is, but I do think that those two know each other!

 

Since when has anyone in a position of power had any integrity or decent character?

And what effect will it have on the company's "customers". Will they be thinking if the CEO is cheating on his wife, will he also be cheating us?

 

She decided to make a scene when the jumbotron gave them the spotlight and he cowered like a yellow bellied cur dog. If they would have just played it cool then it wouldn't have blown up the way it did..I still don't see any news that she was actually let go from the company. She's got a history of marrying CEOs, breaking up families. Did the board use her to out the CEO? You know everybody at the office knew about the affair, office affairs are rarely a secret.

 

She was placed on leave by the board. I don't have a link handy. I am only guessing, but I suspect she has lawyered up and is working on a nice golden parachute. She is also married. Yes, I know she was divorced several years ago, but she remarried recently to the CEO of a liquor company. I understand that both brought a small child into the marriage. I'm glad that it's summertime and school is out. Can you imagine the heck those kids would be going through?

 

Yeah unfortunately these situations are toughest on the kids. Lawyering up is what I also assumed she'd do instead of taking accountability and walking. She'll probably get a nice pay day as they don't want the dramatic theatre to linger. All part of the plan

 

Even MCDONALD’S(of all places) had such policies in place regarding relationships involving coworkers-especially as far as dealing with management!

As with most situations like this, hand placement is everything. If he hadn't been copping a feel, with her hand helping, they could have said it was just crowded, and she was being "steadied" by him. But "honking her chesticles" sank that ship.
