    You will also encounter driver-facing cameras there.

    @ducnut will verify....

    I don't like the prospect of driver facing cameras. I understand the reasons why they give you, but they don't talk about all the rest of the things they'll inevitably use driver facing cameras for. I don't want anyone watching my private life, even more so by people I don't know. Outward facing cameras has been all that was ever needed ever since cameras became a thing in trucking. The driver facing cameras are nothing more than invasion of privacy in an ever increasing surveillance state wanting to control every aspect of our lives. It's disgusting.

    That's an exceptionally good looking dog.

    Do you know the breed? Looks JUST like a puppy this woman I dated for a couple months had adopted. He appeared to be some combination of doberman/rottweiler/lab; was such a cool little guy, named him Rudy.

    She had some pretty serious mental health stuff going on so that situation fizzled pretty quickly. Candidly, I missed the dog a lot more than I missed her.

    You can put a sock/cover over the camera -- when you're in off duty/sleeper status.

    It's not an all the time/around the clock thing.

    I've had driver facing cam for a couple of years now. More and more companies are going to them. No issues and cover it up when Im done driving.

    Several other companies to choose from. I won't push you toward any particular company. Check the others also. Most companies allow you to take the truck home.

    That pic is Dee Dee when she was still a baby. She is a pure bred Australian Kelpie (registered in Australia) This is her now with the purple collar. The one with the blue collar is King, he is also a pure bred Australian Kelpie. I got him to bred with her. The other picture is the 3 stooges when King was still a baby. Dee Dee is in the middle. The older one is Natalie. She is a Kelpie mix (with probably a ####er spaniel Im guessing - she was a rescue).

    And this was my first Kelpie L.T.

    @lual @wulfman75 I guess I could try to get used to it as long as it's like you say and I won't get in trouble for covering it up when I'm not driving. Still don't like the idea of it, though. Creeps me out lol!

    @Knightcrawler Those are some really beautiful dogs. I have 3 dogs, a german shepherd, a pit bull and a corgie. Quite the trio they are lol! No way I'd take all 3 in the truck and if I separated them, the others would have a fit lol!

    Well, Natalie is mommas dog and she doesnt really like the truck. Dee Dee thinks the truck is hers and only lets me drive it (she actually did "drive" it once - I broke down and the tow truck driver wouldnt let her in his truck so she had to stay in ours - and now thinks she can drive it anytime). King thinks Dee Dee is his owner and where she goes he goes. When she eats he eats.
