What tools should I keep on my truck as a company driver?

    I carry a spare brake chamber now, Had a cage come loose once, and cook a brake drum ( yeah, I know you will say it wasn’t caged right, and I agree, I don’t think it could have been either)… I can take the entire shebang off and change it almost as quick as caging a brake.

    Perhaps not, but a man who actually wants to get better at what he does and takes pride in it, eventually will. That’s what @TripleSix calls “bringing your A-game”.

    That’s how it went for me and I had no formal training to speak of the way people seem to now. Everything I know was self taught.

    In Alaska we carried brake can,air bag or 2,alternator,spare belts.Much easier to get back to civilization if you can fix it yourself out in the middle of nowhere.
