Speaking of motors, I had to go pick up a new motor that had slung a rod.

It was a nissan that windowed the block with just a few miles on it. This one is going back to the plant for the engineers to tear down and inspect. You can see the hole above the filter housing.


Yall try to stay cool, it's rough on us outlaws in the dirty south.

Nah, I don’t think so. Just going to bore it 40 over and stick a nice little cam in it. Unless my crank is shot. I ain’t heard from the machine shop in a couple weeks. I do know I have to find a head. Mine was cracked. Which I had suspected

 

That's definitely a keeper, if you sell it you'll always wish you had it back. Besides, what better way to take that grand daughter for ice cream than riding in a nice looking pick up.
