    Hey drivers
I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to my favorite company I’ve ever worked with carlile transportation. They treated me right from day one, solid pay, good equipment, and real respect for drivers' time.
    What stood out for me:
    ✅ On-time home time
    ✅ No forced dispatch
    ✅ Clean, well-maintained trucks
    ✅ Great communication from dispatch
I know every company has its ups and downs, but Carlile transportation made my job easier, not harder and that’s rare in this business.
    Curious to hear from y’all…
Who’s the best company you ever drove for and why?
Let’s show some love to the places that actually do right by their drivers. Stay safe out there.

201, nextgentrucker, wulfman75 and 3 others Thank this.

I'll shout out Climate Express. Been there almost 6 years. They're special because in certain ways they are a 2nd chance company. You can get an opportunity if your criminal record is a little jacked. Cpm may not be the highest but it's within the market. They make up for it with a lot of miles. I've made steady money pretty much from day 1.They've treated me very well, and with tremendous respect. Even held my job when I took off 5 months to handle a medical issue. I like the running lanes and equipment, most of all, the maintenance dept....which I believe is one of the biggest strengths of this company. Well maintained equipment, steady pay, good lanes, all of those make this place easily the best company I've ever driven for.

Didn't Carlisle get bought out by Cowan or somebody else?

    Trucker Lisa Thanks this.

Yeah, you’re right —Carlile Transportation was actually acquired by Saltchuk, not Cowan. Saltchuk owns several transportation companies up in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Carlile’s still running under their own name though, and last I checked, they’re still doing a lot of that tough northern freight.

Shout out to Old Dominion Freight Lines. I've been trucking for 30yrs and the last 12 have been at OD. It's by far the best company and job I've had as a driver.
