During my last phone call with my daughter, we discussed this situation. Keri sighed and said her first husband cheated on her and even gave her an STD. One of the flight attendants she works with is going through a divorce after her husband caught her with another man at a hotel in Charlotte. There’s been a lot of chatter about kiss cams violating privacy, but it’s just noise. Married people get caught cheating sometimes. I can’t remember the exact year, but around 2007, I was in Fort Worth, Texas, staying at a hotel. My tractor was broken down, and it was going to take several days to fix. I walked to the bar to watch a baseball game on TV, and a couple sat across from me, showing lots of PDA. After they left, the bartender told me the woman was married, but not to that man. He just smiled and said, "One day she’ll get caught."

I just hope both his wife and her husband got tested for STDs. If either Cabot or Byron are serial cheaters, all four of them could have been exposed. Keri’s first husband was an attorney (now disbarred), and he caught an STD. Just because these people are high-profile or well-off doesn’t mean they’re immune to catching a social disease!

The controversy erupted when Byron and Kristin Cabot, HR chief of Astronomer, were caught in a compromising position at a Coldplay concert near Boston last week. Chris Martin, the band's frontman, speculated about a possible affair during the show.

Byron is reportedly considering suing Coldplay and event organizers for "emotional distress" and "invasion of privacy." He holds Martin responsible for the controversy that followed the kiss cam incident. A legal expert told New York Post that Byron could sue Coldplay over the fallout from his kiss cam incident with Cabot. Attorney Camron Dowlatshahi said a possible claim could be defamation if Martin implied they had an affair.

A source close to Byron told Page Six that he didn't give his consent to be filmed or publicly humiliated. Dowlatshahi clarified that Byron would have to prove "that there wasn't an affair" to establish defamation. He also said Byron would have to show in court that Martin "knew or should have known" he wasn't cheating "but made the statement anyway with malice."
