Always put my phone on sleep mode before I go to sleep. Only a select few can call me through that in case something is wrong. Dispatch will go straight to voicemail when they call. They know #### well I’m in sleeper birth.

A previous phone I had, you could set it to forward the call to a different number if unavailable. So when I put it in Do Not Disturb, the calls would forward to the National Observatory time number in DC. All they would hear is "at the tone, the time is #####".

Preplan dilemma. Unload appointment is 11am tomorrow, live unload. Preplan location is 4 miles away with a 19:30 live load, and no overnight parking at the shipper, and no truckstop close. Delivery is Clackamas, OR Wednesday morning. This might mean I screw up a 34, then split log. But, on a positive note, it will put me at 2550 by Wednesday morning...decisions, decisions.....:dontknow:. I mean, with the way freight has been, I have to take it, just fitting it into my logs is the fun part(which will require running vampire shift). I have always said that I'll run any time day or night as long as my logbook said I had hours, I guess this is one of those times.

Do u guys not have drive scales on ur truck? Maybe flatbed is different since i tell em how to load it. I can centerload everything heavy and go off drive scales for weight. Couple of our trailers have scales too.. havent scaled a single load out in over a year and we run 75-80k every load.. never grossed out a box trailer tho so i dont know how they load those

Creaffer doesn't even have air pressure gauges for the tractor suspension. Heck, I bet most of the new generation wouldn't know how to calculate weight using a suspension pressure gauge, so they would be wasting money.
