Good advice and that’s exactly what I did with my daughter. And she’s one of the good ones, happily married treats her husband well and he treats her well. I taught her to think for herself and be tough, thick skin but know to be soft as well. I feel sorry for these young guys today, first of all they’re not learning how to be proper men and then they have a dating pool of a bunch of masculine women to pick from lol. I read an article the other day that a man today a young man today, from a business perspective and from a self-reliance perspective, getting married is the most risky thing that he can ever do and is in fact, if you look at it only on paper, remove the love and emotion from it. It is also the most statistically foolish Thing he can ever do in his entire life. He has a 70% chance of complete an absolute failure and being wiped out financially at any point in his life simply by getting married.

In another thread, I mentioned another Flight Attendant my daughter sometimes works with is in the middle of a divorce. She was caught cheating. Because of the stigma around Flight Attendants, when Keri was about 6 months pregnant with Bethany, she offered to have Non-invasive Prenatal DNA testing if her husband was having any doubts. He did not accept her offer, and trust me, Bethany is his daughter.

A few years ago, it was reported that about 1 in 3 births in the UK, the husband was NOT the child's father. Just the other day, I was reading where the great Charlie Chaplin claimed to be the victim of paternity fraud. Maybe soon in the US, we can get mandatory DNA testing for all births. It's the best way to protect Men and to be honest, the innocent child.
