It's always been a cold variant, but an inaccurate test protocol and the decision to stop counting flu data tricked people into believing it was the deadliest virus ever.4mer trucker, Bro_Dave, Trucker61016 and 4 others Thank this.

I simply told them im over 200mi from the truck..that ended the conversation.. normally I’ve done it before I’ve come out a day early and they paid exorbitant amount of money for me to do it, but I have too much stuff going on at home this time around, trying to prepare for my cruise and other things…next time out im staying out until beginning of october and then taking 11-12days off.. A couple years ago they called and asked if I’d come out a day early and they asked me what it would take… I said it would take what I would make on a 500 mile day which is over $300. They said done deal so they paid the $300 plus an additional $150 gift card to Landry‘s restaurantsTrucker61016, MACK E-6, O.Henry and 4 others Thank this.

It was a little worse than the common cold or the flu when it first hit. I've had bad colds and the flu before, and I had a mild case of covid, and covid was much worse. Thankfully I am not elderly or have weak immune system, so it didn't put me down, but I have never felt that bad before in my entire life. One of the forum members (I believe it was @FarmerBob) had it and he ended up dying in the hospital trying to battle it.Friend, ncmickey, hotrod1653 and 6 others Thank this.

I'm sure there was a 300 mile a day driver in Wilmer that could have picked it up for you, but apparently they weren't desperate enough to go to that level of planning to get it covered.Friend, Trucker61016, Knucklehead and 2 others Thank this.

I personally know a couple of close friend's that died of covid, and my wife was hit really hard with it. Long covid, I don't want to see anyone go through what she did. It was not a scamdemic, it was real.

Two things can be true at the same time. Yes, it was very real. And yes it was used as a way to gain wealth and power. Never let a good crisis go to waste.
And it was a man made crisis. To which no one will ever be prosecuted for the worst genocide in human history. Cough* fauci cough*IH9300SBA, High Stepper, hotrod1653 and 4 others Thank this. -
Look man I am not trying to argue with you, I shed a lot of tears over covid. Saw what it did to my friends.
