It isn't bad, pull in , drop your empty and grab the loaded trailer off the dock and then put your empty in the dock. Hook to loaded trailer and roll. Some guys make dropping a trailer into a retirement project....but I wasn't long removed from LTL at that point and it was often a daily task at our barn, often multiple times a day.

 

The Dallas Fort Worth area in my opinion has pretty much climbed to the top of my list of cities that could disappear and it wouldn’t hurt my feelings one bit… Not only is the traffic horrendous, but the amount of morons traveling through there has gotten to the level of insanity

 

When someone is driving like a jackwagon in my town, it's usually someone with Texas plates...

 

Every time, well.... ALMOST every time someone does something stupid in my bubble of awareness, once they get past me, I just look at the plate, and say "That figures", because it's a TX plate. The other times, it has been CA, NJ, or PA.

That sucks, I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. For company trucks they usually try to set up a loaner hood with a truck body shop because it takes a while to patch a hood up and paint it.
