God bless, I was gonna leave this be tily ou blamed the government. Get over it, you live in the best country in the world. Move to China and see how you like the government. My God, this stuff gets old.

Quit blaming everyone for your problems and live your life. The world is not changing, the world is what it is. It's always been what it is. The people back in these glory days you speak of did what we do for less money with no air suspension or air-conditioning. They drove 20 hours a day on meth just to put food on the table.

It’s been a free for all since deregulation, and that’s what everyone wanted. For 45 years it’s been easy for anyone to buy a truck and get operating authority. The same people who are complaining about how things are currently only have their truck because of the same rules. If it was super easy for one person to get authority it’s ridiculous to complain about it being super easy for others to do the same.

Writing code is no longer a good job. AI can write code , better, faster and without errors than any human can even dream of doing

    There is no solution.

Guys who make excuses do it because they find fault with everything except the problem.

Guys who make #### happen never even knew about the problem the excuse guy was talking about.

My solution? Make brokers responsible for the carriers they hire. More importantly, make the shipper responsible as well. Most importantly make parent companies responsible for the debts of their subsidiaries.

Does anyone really think that Amazon, P&G, Kimberly Clark, Georgia Pacific, Nestle, Conagra, Unilever, PepsiCo, Johnson & Johnson, etc would really allow these bottom-of-the-barrel-fly-by-night carriers to haul their goods if they were liable to be co-defendants? Would brokers prioritize net revenue or liability exposure?

Hold carriers responsible for being compliant, not hiring unskilled illiterate drivers, and their 1099 boolshiz shenanigans!
Stop giving safety nets to lenders who finance these shady operations!

They don't care, they hire lawyers to deal with those petty problems while they rake in billions.

Ricky Skaggs said it pretty well
    "
Well a rich man writes the book of laws a poor man must defend. But the highest laws are written on the hearts of honest men".
