Well, i dont know too much about the reefer side cause i was on the flatbed side but when i was over there, you do have to mess around with them pallets and they was pretty liberal about lumber fees, meaning if you paid a lumber of not you can say you did a they will pay you. Now the reefer drivers get paid about 3 cents less than the flatbed driver but reefer run more miles and they do have a force per diem pay but all and all i really like decker and the reason i left cause of money.

If your thinking of working for decker, then count on donating your time, you'll sit at packing houses for hours and even days, and they'll tell you that that shipper doesn't pay detention, also, you be promised a 4000. sign on bonus, and if your idle time is up, they'll deduct your fuel usage from that, and they give you hotel, meals , and travel pay , but if you stay 6 months you don't repay that, ###### lie, i stayed 6 months and one week past , and they robbed my last check, this company is out for management, not the driver, I'm about ready to tell all these ####### trucking companies to goto hell, all they do is stick it to the driver, cant make the money we use to

    STAY AWAY FROM TRUCKING

Being in the job market, here lately, Ive found just the opposite.
The companies I have applied to with large sign on bonuses actually are looking for top notch drivers. Remember, just because they offer a sign on bonus, not everyone qualifies.
