Maybe the former coworkers or one of them, knifed you.ramman95 and TexasRiverRat Thank this.

They could be sending wally their verification forms and they say not rehirable.lual Thanks this.

My advice, try to find a local job that pays by the hour. You should be happy none of those Mega carriers hired you.Jess10k Thanks this.

Walmart did say I'm non-rehireable, but I disputed the firing and the corpo I talked to said that my termination was described as "policy violation and gross misconduct" so it's not listed as theft at leastJB7, Walk Among Us and wulfman75 Thank this.

The one I am currently talking to is a local too, which is pretty nice, they're just in the next town over from me basically. And tbf, I wasn't exactly enthused about driving for a mega, but right now my only concern is getting my year in so I'm not stuck looking at second chance megas. And I do want to eventually do OTR for a little while(probably just long enough to see the 48), but hopefully it can be with someone a little bit better than a mega

LOL, no we're still good friends and he kept encouraging me to reapply. I'm kinda glad anyway because I found a local tanker job for a private carrier. It's the perfect job for me and hopefully I'll retire from here.Numb, Chinatown and Walk Among Us Thank this.

Have you looked at Fedex .in Troutdale Oregon

That's exactly what you need to put down if the application asks why you were terminated. I agree with the other guys. Don't give out too much info.and details. Honesty is not always the best policy. Sometimes things need to be on a need to know basis. Besides, that scenario you laid out in your initial post, if you're laying it out the same way to prospective employers, that's a tough sell. I'm not calling you a liar, but many people are going to be skeptical about that. Hopefully that company calls you back, and Western ends up being the only company that'll take a chance on you, take that job and get you some time in driver seat.Jess10k Thanks this.

Thanks for the advice. That's what I've been doing lately, just pointing out that the termination was for a non-safety related policy violation. And they did! I'm going in for an interview today, so hopefully it works out! Because yeah, despite all the horror stories I've heard about Western Express, if they call me back and I'm still looking, I will take it and tough it out for the 6 monthsbryan21384 and Chinatown Thank this.
