Well, my wife is learning about dementia right now, a friend of ours has it coming on strong, friend needed some stuff from Wal-Fart so the wife took her there yesterday. Told the wife before they left not to let her out of sight, so they get there and the wife stopped paying attention and woman takes off in a different direction, after nearly an hour looking for her she finds her...sitting in automotive crying, they had no need to be on that side of the store. The wife tried calling her and she kept killing the call because she didn't know who Linda was...they've been friends for 15 years. I hate dementia, it's really sad to watch if you've never experienced it. The Glenn Campbell song "I'm not going to miss you" actually explains it rather well.

That's not a long log truck trailer. Log trucks don't have 5th wheels. It's a semi with racks on a chassis. You'll never see that in the mountains off road.

My grandfather's final days were spent strapped into a wheelchair because he would wander off.
My father would wonder to my aunt when I was coming to see him......while I was sitting in front of him.

Dementia and Alzheimer's disease are ugly things.....I guess mostly for those left behind.

Don't do it. It's a scam. We tried it.

The Mighty Deere was feeling neglected and taken advantage of so I had to take time out of my busy day to put a shine on it and shoot a little grease in his zerks and blow out his air filter— he’s better now

Yes they are. My grandmother had dementia so I've seen it before, but she was an escape artist, she had been put in a home with a key pad lock to get out she watched their had movement and figured out the code and walked out the door. Couldn't carry a conversation in a bucket but she figured that out. Found her in Yakimas red and white bar, BSing with the angels.
