Texas is Texas lol their native language is Spanish just like cali and Florida. They want you to know at least few words in Spanish before they issue a cdl

there’s just certain individuals on here that will do anything to wreck a thread because they don’t wanna hear the facts and/or don’t wanna have any kind of conversation regarding the issues in this industry… They want everything literally shut down that doesn’t go along with their views

    thatsright Thanks this.

Post some facts and let’s have an intelligent conversation. All you put up is videos from an idiot. You think we all click on his channel, lol.

In order to trigger a safety review/revocation, the company needs to have violations. State officials can and should be sending requests to FMCSA about shady carriers - taxes, labor disputes, or any number of other red flags.

AI may be able to move faster, but does it do a better job? If there's a 10% error rate, are you going to be okay with being mistakenly shut down? And even if they do use AI - that costs money, hard to do new things with a smaller budget.

Don't need to have violations, a percentage of compliance reviews are random drawing.

I use the term AI but most of the calculations in a review is done through a computer program that matches everything up.
The use of actual AI now could increase the offsite reviews dramatically.

Where do you get a 10% error rate? Just a made up percentage?

Yes, audits can be done randomly. But we're talking about trying to identify and remove bad actors. Increasing inspections is going to do that.

As to the 10% - yeah, I just chose a number. Depending on how you define the error rate it's as low a 5% and as high as 70%.

False conflict and false confirmation errors are crucial components of AI accuracy in medical decision making | Nature Communications

When AI is used by clinicians, error rates fall to 6%, but by itself it has a 19% error rate. I'm not against using AI, I'm against not having a human look over things before pulling the trigger.

Obvious you have no idea what entails a compliance review. Mostly matching paperwork which is done by computer now and has been for many years.

Yeah, I get that. I think that's a problem. I want on site visits, I want interviews with drivers, I want targeted vehicle inspections. I want compliance inspections to be a BIG FRIGGIN DEAL, not filling out some forms in a way the computer gives you a green check mark.

Again, you have no idea what it entails. Don't need a person to see if logs, BOL's, payments, deposits, mileage and a lot of other things match.

    thatsright Thanks this.
