I'd imagine so. That company has a running area so small, I'd at least check them out.tscottme Thanks this.

If youre friend could get to 1 year experience, it'll be immensely easier to find a local gig. Also tell your friend to check out beverage places...Coke, Pepsi, Miller, Anheuser Busch etc. On occasion, drivers can get lucky and catch on to one of those places. Also, try Purity Dairies there on Murfreesboro Pike, hauls milk out of there.

Let me add some clarification to this:
This is either a Lowe's or Home Depot DC (distribution center, for those not in the know) dedicated position. Last I knew, Maverick had a dedicated account down out of Spring Hill (just south of Nashville). That's probably where that job announcement is based. I think Maverick has dedicated accounts at a few other DCs throughout TN. Most of those trailers are preloaded and pre-"tarped"...meaning workers put the tarps on, but unless something has changed, they do not tie them down all the way.
It can be a good local gig for one who needs it. You won't make a bankload lot of money doing it (somewhere in the realm of $170-$200 per day if I remember right), but it is steady, and would be a good fit for the right person.
(FWIW, Maverick and TMC have many of these DC operations all around the country.)lual Thanks this.
