Whole thing smells of nothing but a money racket, IMHO.

I'll say about the sleep apnea, I noticed a drastic improvement in the quality of sleep i got when I was diagnosed. Now I cant sleep without the cpap. It can take a bit to get used to, but imo worth it.
I do agree, the BMI thing is useless though.

Schneider decided I needed a sleep study simply because my neck size was apparently over their criteria. They don't realize that I'm 6'8, so of course I'm bigger than the average person.

I promptly showed them who was #1 and moved on elsewhere. Just seemed like a cash grab to me

My wife's OSA is so bad that they thought they were gonna have to add oxygen to her machine because her blood oxygen level would drop dangerously low with a regular CPAP. They switched her to a BIPAP and it helped. Until recently, without her machine at night, she would wake up with an all day headache. Now, even with the BIPAP she wakes up with a bad headache, and her sleep doctor isn't sure why because all her readings are in the good range

They send me a pre-plan picking up an Anderson, Indiana going to Clarksville Arkansas Walmart… Problem is I don’t drop until tomorrow morning. The load is supposed to pick up today and it’s supposed to be in Arkansas by midnight tomorrow night. It’s 652 miles from the shipper… They’re asked me to pick it up so they can get a repower going so they ensure on time delivery… I don’t drop my current load until tomorrow morning and then it’s still 60 miles over to Anderson… Obviously somebody’s got their head up there behind on this one

Tell them to start the over length permit so you can pull double 53's. That's what they tried to pull on that Tyson load I rejected. Even though my delivery appointment was for the Ft. Collins load was for 8 this morning, they wanted me in Dakota City at 5:45.

The pickup window start time for my Costco load started at 14:00, they still haven't heard a word about what trailer it will be loaded on. I am under 4 on my 14 and it's at least an hour to Lincoln, so they better shake it or I won't be able to pick it up until well after the end time, or maybe tomorrow.

Too bad I got too old, I am missing flatbed more and more.

-when I messaged dispach about my clock, he said do a 10 and pick it up after. I said the pickup hours were 1400 - 1800. If I didn't have to pick this up by 1800, why put that time down. Whomever is entering our load info needs to get their #### straight. Those times are there for a reason, no wonder drivers aren't paying any attention to them and are picking or delivering whenever they want to, even if it's late.

    Thanks SSB,
That helps clear it up. Being as I have a 17" neck and my weight is considered being over the norm I might fail most DOT physical standards. I'm glad I retired.

They made me do a sleep study years ago...all based on neck size. Proved I DIDN'T have it. But every year they still measure, and try.....
