    This is what I was told today by the admissions lady. I would be required to have my medical and background check completed before starting, the CLP would be up to me. But I plan on arriving with my CLP because it will help save me time with my schedule.

    Never hurts to diversify.. you get that CDL with All endorsements and you'll always have an income.. the CDL is good to have in your back pocket, sounds like a great return on investment..I'm not sure what your day job is but it's worth the investment if you've got the time..     CDL school only makes sense if you have a driving job waiting for you the day after class ends.
    THERE IS NO TRUCK DRIVER SHORTAGE. The industry is very slow and getting hired is not guaranteed.
