it doesn't help that the oxygen sensors on mine are bad. It's making it run pretty rich as a result. I need to see how easy or hard it is to get to them and then price new ones

Unusual week for the resident flatbedder.

From unloading at 10am Tuesday, to not being able to load until Wednesday (38 miles away, with full clock and fresh 70).

Whatever happened to cause me to not be able to load at one of our usual customers happened, causing the next day loading. So Wednesday pull in there 6:10am as they begin at 6. (Gates opens at 6:15). And they proceeded to take until noon to get me loaded. Great. That’s fine. I’ll haul tail.

Thursday give dispatch the call that my 9am delivery in fort worthless isn’t going to happen (even with only stopping at fuel stop, required load checks, and taking a straight 10). No way I could make it by 9 Friday. But Noon:30 could be doable. No problem they say, open window, they(fcc) just set it for 9a to me, for Friday afternoon reload.

Next preplanned load is Diboll Tx to Omaha, they load until 1800. Awesome. Pull into cowtown 1130 and sit and sit and sit. They finally unload me by 2:30. Which in the van world 3hrs isn’t the worse thing, but I don’t haul van. So it put me to where I couldn’t make my next pickup. So dispatch talks around the office to see if anyone needed anything moved and they would have my drop my empty in Dallas drop yard and life be peachy.

None of the van dispatchers needed an extra truck, they probably could’ve used an extra load more than a soul.

So here I sit. Going to pick up my load in Diboll Monday morning and deliver it Tuesday in Omaha, my check will never know the difference.

My truck is due for service once I return

Today the APU sprung a coolant leak so I guess I'll be idling until I get back to the shop The inverter also doesn't work right

Been a busy week. Load out of Perris they had the trailer number flipped. Couldn’t find it and tracking showed the trailer in Wisconsin, because it seemed like a likely candidate I pulled the one on the lot that was the same number but reversed, turned out my hunch paid off, it was the right load.
Ran pretty hard to Hutchins, TX. Next load was at Mars in Lancaster, took that Columbia, SC then bopped over to Sumter and grabbed a preload for Holdredge. I’m in Trucker timeout in East St Louis. Delivering this Sunday then heading to Fremont for service (and taking along a sick trailer from Holdredge to get serviced as well).

    Definitely wrung out the clock.
Had several chances to do arts and crafts with trailer tape during the week.

I'll wave at you as I drive by. Just dropped in Topeka and heading back to KCMO to grab another load to Clayton, then I'll have my turn in trucker timeout

Dropped in Clayton and I am now in trucker timeout for the next 34 hours. I already have 2,713 miles on this pay period. I'll be ready to roll Monday morning with two more days still on the pay period. Not too bad for regional.

I also forgot to mention that I met one of the KC shag drivers this morning as he was starting his day. Or i should say he reads this thread regularly and recognized me in my car as I was coming back from a grocery run to Wally World. I can't recall his name but he was a nice guy

Both kinda suck, 99 is a bit better than 5 down south but gets slow up north, I thought the leet pro guys usually ran 99 down south then cut over to 5 not too far up.
