I've noticed on 18 WoS the dash set up is in the wrong trucks. Like a Freightliner dash in a Pete or International and vise versa. The Mack "stub nose" normally used for trash truck application's has the Freightliner Century dash. You can operate the the parking brake (yellow button) but the trailer brake knob (red button) does nothing when doing a drop or hook a trailer.

Make it so if you don't keep up the maintenance on the truck, you get pulled into a scale or pulled over and fined $50,000 or so. That'll add some realism.

To answer the question, we call work assignments loads or runs. Unless its a run that we do over and over to the same place (or places) then its a dedicated run lol.

My work calls them load assignments if you are looking for something technical.

As for 'Mission Objective' well usually our objective is the delivery/destination/consignee.

I think a trucking game set up like The Sims could be cool. Sims Trucker
You could start out in an old JB hunt cabover and work your way up to a Pete or whatever.
You instead of buying furniture and re decorating your house you could buy chrome accessories and chicken lights and change graphics and pics on the side of ur trailer. You could buy other things like the screaming meanie alarm clock so you aren't late for deliveries and you could buy better seats and steering wheels! And you need to communicate with your dispatcher and be nice so you get good loads and if your friendship points (or whatever) go down you start getting short loads and make less money.
    I'd play that game.

It'll only be out for a day before someone mods it to include tank armor, 3000hp jet turbine engines, cannons, mines, and all that fun stuff anyway. Then I'll play it.
