On September 3, 2025, Marowley Transport LLC (MC#1567568 / DOT#4106464) contacted Stukel Mountain regarding one of three available shipments from Apex, NC to Washington, PA. Communication was conducted through phone calls and emails (all of which are included in the file link above). Marowley completed the carrier packet and provided all required documentation, which is also on file. A background check confirmed that they were a legitimate carrier meeting all applicable legal and performance requirements.
The agreed payment arrangement was 50% upon the truck’s arrival and check-in, with the remaining 50% due upon delivery. The carrier was informed that the shipment would be loaded by crane and that timing was critical. They claimed to understand.
While Truck #1 was in the process of being loaded, I contacted the remaining two carriers—who had not yet arrived—to confirm their ETA. At this point, Marowley Transport began acting in bad faith. Following multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach the driver by phone, the below text message correspondence took place between the driver and Stukel Mountain.
Both the driver and dispatch were uncooperative throughout this process. Despite repeated requests, they refused to provide payment information. The driver falsely represented his location, claiming to be onsite but refusing to check in at the office. He further misled us by implying that a truck in the parking lot belonged to him, which it did not.
All reasonable efforts were made to complete this shipment with Marowley Transport. The text messages and emails provide a clear record of how the situation unfolded.
Once confidence was lost in Marowley’s ability to perform, every effort was made to secure another carrier. However, due to the lateness of the day, a replacement carrier was not able to arrive onsite until the following morning. This delay caused the shipper damages totaling $10,507.73 in additional crane fees, labor costs, and other expenses directly attributable to Marowley’s bad faith actions. Doing business with Marowley Transportation costs money.

What I take away from this is, Marowley decided they didn't want to take your load and left you on the hook for any money accruing from their non performance. Next time stick with people you know and trust when it involves that much overhead.

I have just received a call today from my customer claiming that a carrier company is claiming I am an illegitimate broker with fake MC so on and so forth. So i called them to see what the issue is. If you check Marowley on RMIS and SAFER everything checks out. THANKFULLY my load was delivered from A to B without any problems. I paid "Marowley" the agreed rate with the fee for quick pay. The scammer using Marowley transport LLC MC number is sophisticated. they double brokered the load to a carrier who delivered my load. Even the tracking is on point. They double brokered through Activa logistics to them with a very high rate. Easy to bite. My assumption is that some drivers caught on the scam and refused to deliver the load until they got paid through whoever the scammer used to double broker. So scammer then just considers it a bust and does not care if your load ever reaches its destination, they move onto the next load. Make sure you tighten your security. I had to completely revamp my carrier set ups and I know its a pain and a longer process from initial contact until the load is booked between a broker and a carrier, but doing this due dilligence protects both parties involved and sadly it is more than necessary because of people like this guy. So marowley has nothing to do with this, nor does the broker that refuses to pay the carrier, It is the same group of people with a little higher tech skills running a scam. Stay safe, stay dilligent
