One entire day training ? Why did you waste so much of your day?

    guess I wasted years learning…

but I have always been a slow learner

Yeah. The rest will be on the job training. What else can they teach me without all the different loads and permits that I will encounter through experience. Did practice on hooking and unhooking trailer, stretching the trailer, lowering and raising the trailer, and key things to keep in mind. Load securement: I already have 4 years of that. Reading permits I already have 3 years of that. Load I picked up today was a perfect starter load. Gave me a chance to get a decent feel for the trailer. Total weight just under 99k and this trailer didn’t have me lose much power going up hills. Tomorrow I will see how it does going 24 East in Chattanooga area towards Georgia. Photos attached any pointers or criticism will be much appreciated.

That is one beautiful truck. I dropped my trailer and hooked it after I was loaded to practice. Locking my axles and my ramps made lifting the trailer very easy. I was on hard dirt ground. No gravel nor pavement.

Just curious what your clearance is there? Looks awfully low in the pics.

Were there no attatchment points to chain?

I'm just curious. I have no experience here

I have 2 chains on there and all open deck trailers I have encountered have attachment points. I have 4 inches ground clearance. Car haulers are lower than this. If your new, it's nothing special.

If you're wondering about the load and attachment points in case I misunderstood your question, it has attachment points only on one side and the loader told me don't use them. He said just throw the chains over the load

Do you have the ability to raise your ride height when you get in a bind (dip&turn, RxR crossing)? We do ride low but without an overlift to raise you up when needed you will get stuck on occasion. IMG_5786.png IMG_5785.jpeg
