Went out to feed the cows last night, as soon as I opened the house door, I could smell hot alfalfa. Don’t have a hay probe, so I stuck a meat thermometer into a bale, 201*!!!!! They are all scattered around the lane until they cool off. Glad I didn’t have to file an insurance claim this morning!
Not quite sure how we missed it that bad, I was worried I’d lose all the leaves baling it, it was that dry….
