I find that incredibly hard to believe

 

Back in 2012, my mom alleged that the same things were happening to her after she threatened to sue her former employer for being "instrumental in placing a microchip in her brain during leg surgery". Nobody in their right mind would touch that case because she had no evidence. She continued to go down these Bourne Identityesque rabbit holes about conspiracies and expressed interests in topics that were too farfetched to even be grounded in reality. Needless to say, mom was diagnosed with Schizophrenia but refused to take any medication. I really miss who my mother used to be, but I learned to accept her for who she's became... yet I haven't fully made peace with it.
She's gotten better over the years post-treatment but she has never truly recovered. Do yourself a favor: please consult with an expert in the mental health field as soon as you can, family.
