So then...Why do you guys always seem to wait till I'm 50 yards behind you doing 20 MPH faster than you to whip out in front of me and make me hit the brakes when you still have 100 yards between you and the other slug in front of you?

I would be past you and long gone before you ever got close enough to need to get out there but you all seem to do this....Then it's on with the 20 minute slow race for the next 20 miles until you finally give up and get back behind the guy you vainly attempted to pass.

    THAT...Is freaking ridiculous!

    JustSonny and jcroom76 Thank this.

He seems to be doing a little better these days when it comes to the whole keeping fuel in the tanks thing...He hasn't called me with a "I ran out of fuel today" story in a while.:biggrin_25523:

Ok I see your point, but do you think its ok to jump out in the hammer lane and hold it up for miles and miles while this whole thing plays out ??

Some of you guys can't come within 10 mph of the posted speed limit out west, and you know the 4-wheelers are closing in on you faster than that..

All I'm saying is be smart about when you get out there is all, hell if I'm loaded heavy and don't think I can make a pass quickly and cleanly I wait..

    True that!

He's getting much better fuel mileage than before...He's now getting what I get and that's probably due more to getting rid of that yellow boat anchor that he had for a motor than anything else.

He learned that lesson the hard way...He'll never buy a Cat again!

I am a Swift driver and I have to side with most of the others on here. Some of the things I see other drivers do are ridiculous. When I am feel the need to pass someone I do everything possible to do it quickly. If I am faster going uphill or down than the guy infront of me that is when I pass. And I always make sure that traffic isn't flying up behind me before I get over. I am only going 62mph anyway I can wait for traffic to clear first.
