    Yeah, it's a bright enough flashing light the 4-wheelers realize that the truck has these illumination devices on the rear of the trailer that blink or change intensity randomly for some reason.

    Say you owned a fleet of 100 trucks and get rear ended 3 times a year with an average cost of $10,000 per incident. If installing this light can eliminate one of those incidents, would you install them?

    Initial studies show they work. Even if they have no impact, simply installing them demonstrates a "commitment to safety" that could mollify a jury.
