Just got back this morning.. overall it was an excellent cruise. We had 2 sea days that were very, very bumpy last Friday night I don’t know how many people got sick, but quite a few did the ship was rocking big time

The drive back home was uneventful. 69 was a very nice and uncluttered road. We took US45 out of Jackson to 69, all the way home. Lots of work zones on the way, but no work happening this weekend; unlike on 65.

It's been a few months since I ran north out of Memphis up to Paducah but it was a nice ride. I've been from Paducah back to Indianapolis on 69 multiple times recently and it was a quiet nice ride. I live 7 miles east of 69 off of US35 in Indiana and I hate 69 from Indianapolis to Ft. Wayne. It's grown so much over the last 20 years and traffic is awful.

Got a preplan. Pick up in Dallas at 1 pm today. Deliver in Shawnee, KS tomorrow night @ 2330. Just under 500 miles. It will put me just over 2000 for the week. Hopefully they can find a way to get me at least another 1000 by Friday evening, but I won't hold my breath.

Why on earth are you upset with 11,000 miles plus you get bonus on this week's check ?? I think sometimes you need to look how fortunate you are to run like that ....some of us want to but never get more than 9000-10,000 per month on the dry side...

My ##### is I only had 11,000 after getting 7500 by the 15th. That means I only turned 3600 miles in 15 days. If I get 7500 miles in the 1st 15 days, there is no ####ing reason to only get less than half that much in the other 15 days. I should have cleared at least 12,500(in other words 2500/week). And if I were only getting 9-10,000 per month during this time of year, my dispatcher would be deaf from the screaming he would hear from me.

I understand but freight can fluctuate and therefore not always going to get the high high miles....9000 to 10000 is plenty for my lifestyle and not working to death either.....
