Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

My company does that all the time and it is quite nice. Last week my steers were at 6/32 in one spot. I new they were getting close but decided to give it a week or two before writing them up. I went home for the night and when I returned the next day two new steer tires magically appeared on my truck without me saying a word.

 

Not gonna lie, as a company driver in a small satellite yard, I’m jealous of the maintenance. I’d take them taking it and working on it on my days off, over never being able to work on things.

 

I mean... its the same people that pull it in anyway when you go to a shop. Hell, probably better when youre on hometime since youre not wasting a day of driving. I always took anything valuable home too.

 

I live 20 minutes from my companies yard. I agree with you, no flippin way am I waiting while I get a PM. I’ll be at home.

 

Some drivers who parked at Marrietta for hometime..have come back to find truck not locked...after shop serviced their truck

 

That needs to be addressed with shop mgr..they’re supposed to lock the truck up when done..

 

I’ve had that happen three times last year that’s why I got Ostergard and Kutter involved after that the shop manager knew I wasn’t screwing around. He got a surprise three-way call with me and Kutter on the line
