Alright, back up a second there MOD.
There is no copyright or other infringement going on here. Specifically about programming software. He was just saying I have a license and you have license and we were discussing what our legitimate license levels allowed us to do.
And we both acknowledged, neither of us can do anything, and I will allow the dealer to charge me 3000$ to continue their diagnostic tomorrow morning.
Welp, I broke down and gave it my best shot last week.. O/OP rant

Calm down. Mack was just genuinely curious. He’s on our side
-
That I don’t particularly care about.
Like he said I was just curious if his dealer would say “#### Freightliner” and sell it anyway where yours wouldn’t, and if your shop won’t sell it to you get it from his if you can. -
Oh, Okay, that makes sense.
I think it was more of a legit "It's Friday at 1700 and I ain't work on that old freightliner till Monday." thing.
Oh the joys of trucking. -
People don’t give a #### if you are in a bind. It’s Friday and they are going home. And after lunch on Friday they are just coasting until 4 pm. But, like you said. That’s truck drivingOpendeckin, jcatel, IH9300SBA and 4 others Thank this.

Yep, Yep...
Like I said, guys, I'm ranting, just because I'm stuck for this next week in revenue.
I'm an owner op and I have everything paid off for my family (Mtge, CC's etc) to the end of November. So I have time to get the truck fixed.
But any new future O/OP, you better have 2 months of bills paid before starting down this journey.
Because it's actually better that I am slapping down the credit card to pay for it and fix it now.
All those lease purchases have to go through warranty, and dealers will hold you up for weeks.
You can't run weekly as an O/opRookie driver 956, rollin coal, IH9300SBA and 2 others Thank this. -
To change the ECM and the harness on my Cascadia 2 years ago the cost was close to 8K, and it took a week for the dealer to complete it.KDHCryo Thanks this.

I also, want to say, I'm about 78K in the black for this year, gross as an O/OP. I average 2.30 per mile
This particular breakdown will hurt. Especially because I Just spent 8K on tires last month, and another 1K on centramatics on all 6 corners.Constant Learner and IH9300SBA Thank this. -
A DVOM to check wire continuity isn't the best way to test a circuit. A single strand of wire will show it to be good even though it won't carry a load. You can use a miniature incandescent bulb or headlight to make a tester.Feedman, shatteredsquare, gentleroger and 6 others Thank this.
