I don't know what they are like right now but about 8 years ago 2 of my uncles ran for then at the same time and had to get evolved in a lawsuit to collect a lot of back pay that May was skimming off the top. Them and several drivers went after them for about 10k each. But also keep in mind that was 8 years ago.

Hey all, I'll be a new grad soon, in N. California, and am looking into May trucking. Can anyone tell me how they pay and if they are a good company to work for?

I will be heading to CDL school at the end of this month, or this fall depending on a couple of things. So I have no real advice for you, other then to keep reading on this board.:hello2:

Ya. Interstate's drybox, but they're 100% auto-shift, and (no horror stories) from listening to a buddy of mine, and others, the company's changing for the worse.

Good luck at shool man. I just got my Class A:biggrin_25519: and am going to orientation on monday with Gordon Trucking. They seem to be a good fit for me and I read a lot of good thing about them. May on the other hand does look good on paper but my instructor also said somthing about them being known as "No Pay May". Good luck to everyone and I'll keep you posted on GTI.:biggrin_255:
