It might be, lol. I know a few times I had to put coffee after hauling a load of beef combos, that bled all over the place. Driver one time did a D&H at Farmland in Wichita.
That trailer got “lost” there in the spring and didn’t get “found” until mid September. That was the strongest and the only time coffee didn’t do the trick to get the odor out.
Old truck wash in Motley, MN used bleach when we’d come get washed out after off loading at Trident Sea Foods there.
Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

I am picking up a pharmaceutical load. A little minty smell might not be an issue, but this smells so strong like the entire load was just gum. I applied another 1/2 pound and turned the reefer on continuous again to circulate the coffee smell. Maybe I didn't use enough. Shaffer will definitely get a receipt for the price of a new pound of Folder's for trailer deodorizing.Friend, Knucklehead, hope not dumb twucker and 2 others Thank this.

This is the fourth time this year. They’ve given me this offer… It may also have been from when I was with dynamic because all they did was fuel at loves and I was diamond every single month for over a year and a half so that is might be why they keep sending me these things as often as they dohope not dumb twucker Thanks this.

That's all my division at SPD was allowed to use as well, and there were months I bought 2000 gal, so I really expected to get one of those messages...at least we get unlimited showers at the Flying Peelot so I don't have to depend on unlimited at Love's (I am trying to break my flatbed habit of showering once in a while)Friend, Knucklehead, hope not dumb twucker and 2 others Thank this.

5hrs at Walmart in casa grande az so far…
hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -
Now that I am 2/3 of the way thru a restart, the weekend crew is trying to swap me off the loads. I can see why drivers don't plan trips and just fly by the seat of their pants here. I refused the preplan, we'll see how far they press before they give up.
Update - miracle of miracle, it only took 1 "NO" before they unplanned me.Last edited: Nov 2, 2025

You may want to confirm the backup is still on you. The unpreplan message doesn't always get sent. The load may have canceled or somethingFriend and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

The increase in the amount of coffee spread around the trailer did the trick. But being an idiot, I didn't realize that there were still a few damp spots on the floor, so when the coffee hit them, it made a nice thick coffee goo. So, 2 gallon jugs of water later I had the trailer back to clean. Some days my brain just doesn't always work like it should.
I forgot to mention that the upshift/downshift issue wasn't the software update. It just so happened that the shifter stalk was going bad at the same time. Then earlier last week, I lost the ability to cycle the jakes on manually. On the way out here, I managed to have enough time to get it replaced (it's a warranty part). So now I have everything working like it should.Friend, Trucker61016, hotrod1653 and 7 others Thank this. -
They must be really desperate for drivers. Every day for almost a week I have been getting a recruiting message. Really? Do we have to be told about it on a daily basis like, "oh yeah, I forgot they have a recruiting bonus!!!!". But it does fit with my analogy of management's view on us being dementia patients at an adult daycare, and being so forgetful that we have to be reminded to do everything but breathe and wiping ourselves.
Friend, Knucklehead, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this.
