THE TRUCK HAS STOPPED!!!!!

STOPPED AT AN INDIGENOUS TA!!!!!!!

Today was a Top Ten weird trucking day. Those of you that know......... know that is saying something.

The OM has decided we shall remain here for ten(10) hours, then proceed to the Indigenous receiver under the cover of darkness using stealth.

I was informed via phone on the 31st that my health insurance is cancelled, and a COBRA package is enroute.

They sent me a preview, $2500 a month.

Missus Skillet has to sign up for Medicare. She's been dragging her feet on this issue, but it was okay, because she was on my insurance.

Now she ain't, and neither am I.

In other good news, I was informed in the same phone call that if I'm not back in 12 weeks (Dec 22nd) I'm terminated.

If I DO make it back in time, my seniority date will be moved up 12 weeks, my retention bonus gets prorated, and I'll have to wait 90 days for coverage again.

I looked it up, and yes, they can.

But at least there's no trash water dripping down my neck......so there IS that.
