They are 25 years old? Or they are the new ones. Idk. It's weird to think about logistics and south pole office furniture.

Oh the plane. It's a modified dc3 with turbo prop engines. They are made in Wisconsin. I imagine the whole plane was gone thru and raised to 1980s tech.

Looks like you switch the wheels/ tires for winter? We talked about it often enough, but ultimately just ended up complaining about how the salt worked on the aluminum wheels. Dad was pretty adamant they got washed after every snow, that helped a good bit with keeping them decent.

We squeeze the dealer for the steel rims with the sensors at purchase and put our preferred tires on. It makes the change over happen at our place (got no tire machine).
What tires did you use? After trying the dura tracks, the bf’s, Toyo, coopers, the last straw was some Firestones. Now I have found the general grabber arctic lt. It’s one of the best tires I’ve ever plowed with, less expensive than those first three brands. Great on ice.
That’s them in the second picture, new set coming in in a week. Fresh boots for the winter
